An older image from 2004, inspired from the Bladerunner movie.
Modeled and rendered with Bryce5, with some Photoshop postwork.
Traffic by ~RudolfHerczog will make to think again about the software Bryce, especially if you are underestimating it. Also shows that the quality and great results are mostly depends on the artist's skill and the way of expressing themselves. This image also made to Ballistic Publishing's Expose book - which features only the best digital art out there. (
This is such an amazingly epic pic here! I totally adore the entire design and the structure of the background and the buildings and the shading and textures all look very fantastic and the whole atmospher in this entire pic is just dark and stunning! This is one of the best pics I've ever seen! Totally worth the Daily Deviation!
This reminds me greatly of Omega from Mass Effect 2. You did a good job. The dark and dirty colors add to show even a futuristic city can be dirty. It has a 2200 New York feeling to it. Wonderfully drawn and congrats to being a Daily Deviation.
Looks like that place in... I think it's the second or third movie in the Star Wars trilogy. When Aniken goes to find that guy in the diner and when Zam Wessel is sniped and killed? I don't know, excuse my shitty memory. But this is fantasticly amazing.
I like using Bryce. I was wondering if you post an image of your Bryce render as a comparison to the PS postwork. I have wanted to try doing images likes this, but I am not sure how to setup my reference images.
